LA IMPORTANCIA VITAL DE LA SOSPECHA CLÍNICA EN LA DISECCIÓN AÓRTICA

El artículo aborda la disección aórtica como parte del síndrome aórtico agudo, destacando su elevada mortalidad y complejidad diagnóstica debido a la variabilidad de sus síntomas iniciales. Se presenta el caso clínico de una paciente con síntomas neurológicos inespecíficos, que finalmente resultaron ser causados por una disección aórtica tipo A, confirmada tardíamente mediante angio-TC torácico. El retraso en el diagnóstico subraya la importancia de una sospecha clínica oportuna y el uso de protocolos adecuados. Se enfatiza que, aunque ciertas pruebas iniciales no mostraron hallazgos relevantes, había indicios que podrían haber orientado antes al diagnóstico.
