LUXACIÓN GLENOHUMERAL POSTERIOR BLOQUEADA, TRATADA MEDIANTE TÉCNICA DE MC LAUGHLIN KOKKALIS

La luxación posterior glenohumeral bilateral es una lesión poco frecuente que representa entre el 0,5 y el 3 % de las luxaciones glenohumerales. Hasta el 50% de las luxaciones glenohumerales posteriores pueden pasar desapercibidas durante semanas e incluso meses, denominándose a partir de la tercera semana luxaciones bloqueadas. En aquellos casos en que el defecto óseo origine un bloqueo de la cabeza humeral con la glena, es necesario recurrir a técnicas reconstructivas como la técnica de McLaughlin-Kokkalis, que permiten salvar la cabeza humeral sin recurrir a la artroplastia.
