Las lesiones de columna cervical son de gran importancia, por su gravedad y por las implicaciones neurológicas que conllevan. El 20% de las fracturas de columna cervical pasan desapercibidas en el servicio de urgencias. El siguiente caso muestra las repercusiones de una luxo/fractura cervical no diagnosticada inicialmente, las consecuencias de ésta y su opción terapéutica.
